Are you feeling Autumnal yet?

Are you feeling Autumnal yet?

I know I am. For me, our regular annual visit to End of the Road festival in Dorset in late August/early September always marks the end of summer and the beginning of autumn. It's time to dig out the warm jumpers, woolly socks and (for me) cosy plaid shirts.

Now that the wheel of the year is turning once again, so does our home fragrance range. Mabon is for you if you love the earthy, spiced scent of autumn, the smell of damp earth and leaves, of walking through the woods after rain, the unmistakable scent of the last of the dying fire, coming home and lighting a candle with the lights down low.

Mabon brings the earthy warmth of howood and vetiver, softened by petitgrain. Cardamom and black pepper add a little quiet heat underneath and cedarwood and patchouli ground it all. If you like our Woodland soap bar, you'll love Mabon.

There's something about this time of year that asks you to slow down a little. The evenings are drawing in, the light turns golden and everything outside starts to slowly die back. I find I want my home to have some of that stillness too, with more warmth and somewhere cosy to land at the end of the day. That's really what this range is for.

The range includes a candle, tea lights and wax melts, all made with our usual plant based blend of coconut and rapeseed waxes, a reed diffuser with an all natural base and an aromatherapy blend for your diffuser. Everything is scented with a blend of pure essential oils, so the scent will settle and soften slightly differently in each format.

If you're new to Mabon, the candle is a good place to start, lit somewhere you'll actually sit with it for a while. The reed diffuser suits a hallway or a room you pass through often, giving you that same earthy warmth without needing a flame. The the aromatherapy blend can be used in your diffuser, or add a few drops to your bath.

I hope you enjoy exploring the range, and I hope you have a wonderful autumn and all that it brings.
